Q:
Can I send an essay or any other work for you to check?
A:

No, we recommend that you ask a teacher for this kind of help.  We only provide answers to questions pertaining to school life.

Q:
Can you send me questions and answers for my upcoming test?
A:

No, asking for questions or answers on tests is strictly unacceptable. Remember that the mentors along with the student users, must abide by the honor code.  We suggest you contact your teacher if you are unsure what material is covered for a specific test.

Q:
I am unable to complete my homework on time, can you do it for me?
A:

No.  Student mentors do not do homework for other students.

Q:
Will volunteering at Reach A Student count toward mandatory High School community service credit?
A:

Q:
Will my questions be shared publicly?
A:

The goal of the site is to help students with relevant questions and in that regard, some questions might be researched among student mentors and WPS faculty in order to provide the best possible answer but the question and identity of the student submitting the question, will not be shared publicly online.  Some questions commonly asked, might be posted with a non-specific answer in our Frequently Asked Question section in a general sense and shared in that manner to help others.

Q:
Is it possible that a response to my question is wrong?
A:

Yes.  Your question will be answered in the best possible manner by another student and while they will attempt to provide the best possible answer to your question, they are students and in that regard, are 100% human and subject to error.

Q:
I've submitted a question a few minutes back and I've not received a response. Why is this taking so long?
A:

Our student mentors will always try to respond in a timely manner but since they are full time students, they might be engaged in several after-school activities including athletics, music, homework etc.  and because of this, responses can take between hours and days to research and respond appropriately.  Time sensitive questions should be sent to your teacher. It might be a good idea to check your spam or junk mail folder and if you are still having trouble getting a response from a mentor, please click to contact Jay directly.

Q:
I would like to suggest a WPS video I'd like to see posted – is this possible?
A:

Yes, please send your suggestion to info@reachastudent.com
